The Estate vineyard is 9 ½ acres situated just south of the legendary Stags Leap growing region on the famous Silverado Trail. Planted in 1996 and hedonistic from the start and true to its world-class vineyard’s characteristics of blackberry, dark cherry, chocolate, tobacco, and just a hint of spice. A long velvety finish with soft but structured tannins makes it enjoyable now and through the next decade. This is the only wine we produce from our estate and we only produce a very small amount usually around 1000 cases, so get your now before it’s all gone! 2007 was a great fruit-forward year for our world-class Estate property, producing a single varietal, single vineyard Cab that blends both Old and New World styles.
Dark plum, black currant, cherry, chocolate and smoky characteristics as well as a little spice with a smooth, lasting finish. Tannins are soft yet structured.
